I got the chance to weave with Peter, the shaft switching loom that we have a Ruthie’s! It was my first time weaving with this type of loom, and had lots of fun learning how to get this working with Robin. Fun fact: Peter (the loom) is named for Peter Collingwood, the man who designed the shaft switching loom! I wove a rug with a self-drafted design that used a lot of wool I have in my stash.
